SWIM-RUN TRAINING DAY

HUUB Events along with our BTF coaches are hosting a Swim-Run Training Day to prepare athletes for the current upsurge in Swim-Run Events across the country.
Also in attendance we will have experts in the field of Swim-Run kit, running shoes, nutrition, strength and conditioning training and recovery.

Entrants are invited to sign up for either a morning (10am – 12pm) or an afternoon session (12.30pm – 2.30pm). An informal Swim-Run race for everyone involved in the sessions will begin at 3pm.
Each session lasts for 2 hours and consists of practical sessions in the lake and beside the lake, information on kit, running as a pair and entering and exiting the water as a pair.
Spaces are limited to 40 per session so get signed up quickly! Don’t worry if you don’t have a partner as we can pair you up on the day of the event.
EVENT VILLAGE EXPERTS INCLUDE
Our experts will be on hand throughout the day to talk about and demo the kit you need, appropriate footwear, nutrition requirements, strength and conditioning training as well as recovery and rehab.
We’ve also got Sally’s food van to keep you nourished throughout the day!
We’ve put together an initial KIT LIST for you to have a look at – but it doesn’t need to be brand new, in fact the older the better in some cases as you will be getting wet and muddy!
